PB & Banana Protein Smoothie

The perfect post workout snack is a protein shake. But, instead of your typical water and protein try something new with this Peanut Butter and Banana Protein Smoothie! I used Bone Broth protein because it has 20g of protein, 2g of carbs and only 1g of sugar per serving. This is hard to find in a protein shake and I notice how great I feel after drinking this kind vs. whey and soy protein. However, you can use whatever type of protein you prefer!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen bananas
  • 8 oz. almond milk (you can use regular or soy milk if you prefer)
  • 2 scoops peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • Cacao nibs to top
  • 1 scoop protein (I used the ancient nutrition bone broth nutrition)
  • Directions:
    1. Add frozen bananas, milk, peanut butter and honey into a blender and blend until smooth.
Top with cacao nibs and fresh banana if desired.
